Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about RynoWallet, RynoCoins, and how the platform works for merchants and customers.

RynoWallet is a coalition loyalty platform that connects local shops into a shared rewards network. Merchants issue RynoCoins to customers after purchases. Customers accumulate coins from multiple shops and redeem them for instant discounts at any participating shop. The platform requires no hardware, runs entirely on web browsers, and takes under 5 minutes to set up.

Closed Loop mode (private branded coins for your shop only) is completely free forever with no limits. Network mode (shared RynoCoins across all participating shops) has three subscription tiers: Basic at 299 INR/month (up to 2,000 RC/month redemption), Standard at 499 INR/month (up to 5,000 RC), and Premium at 799 INR/month (up to 12,000 RC). There are no setup fees, no hardware costs, and issuing coins is always free regardless of your plan.

The MIR ensures network fairness. A merchant can redeem (accept) up to 3 times the coins they have issued in the same month. For example, if you issue 200 coins, you can accept up to 600 coins as discounts. New merchants get a bonus 1:5 ratio for the first 30 days. This prevents merchants from only accepting coins without contributing to the network.

RynoCoins are valid for 90 days from the date of issuance. Expired coins are automatically removed from customer balances. This expiry window ensures coins are actively used and keeps the network economy healthy. Customers can check their coin expiry dates in their wallet dashboard.

No. RynoWallet is a web-based platform. Customers access their wallet through any mobile browser (Chrome, Safari, Firefox). They can add the wallet page to their home screen for an app-like experience without going through any app store. This works on both Android and iPhone.

Closed Loop lets you issue your own branded coins (e.g. "Shree Points") that can only be redeemed at your shop. It is free, fully white-labeled, and requires no subscription. Network mode uses shared RynoCoins (1 coin = 1 INR) that customers can earn and redeem at any participating shop. Network mode requires a monthly subscription but gives you access to cross-shop customer traffic and the coalition network effect.

When a customer redeems RynoCoins at your shop, you give them a discount on their bill. The coin value is tracked in your merchant dashboard and settled to you through monthly settlement cycles. Settlement amounts, dates, and transaction details are all visible in your dashboard. New merchants receive settlement details during the onboarding process.

Yes. You can upgrade from Closed Loop to Network mode at any time from your merchant dashboard. Your existing closed-loop coins will remain separate and continue to work at your shop. You will start fresh with RynoCoins in the network. The switch takes effect immediately after you select a subscription plan.

After the customer pays their bill, open the RynoWallet merchant portal on your phone browser. Go to "Issue Coins." Search the customer by phone number, email, or scan their QR code. Enter the bill amount and the number of coins to issue. Tap "Issue." The entire process takes about 10 seconds. The customer sees the coins in their wallet immediately.

Yes. All data is transmitted over encrypted HTTPS connections. Passwords and PINs are hashed using industry-standard algorithms. Every coin transaction is logged with a full audit trail. We do not sell or share your personal data with third parties. For more details, see our Privacy Policy.

Since RynoWallet is web-based, the customer's coins are stored securely on the server, not on their phone. They can log in from any new device using their email and password. Their wallet ID, coin balance, and transaction history are all intact. No coins are lost when a phone is lost or replaced.

Yes. RynoWallet provides a REST API that integrates with any POS or billing software that supports HTTP requests (Tally, Vyapar, Khatabook, Shopify, WooCommerce, custom software). However, integration is optional -- most merchants use the web portal directly. See our POS Integration guide for details.
