What You Will Have After 5 Minutes
Before we start, let us be clear about exactly what you will have at the end of this guide. You will have a fully functional loyalty program for your shop. Your customers will be able to earn coins from you after every purchase. You will be able to see their balances and process redemptions. And if you choose Network mode, your shop will immediately be visible to all existing RynoWallet network customers in your area as a place to earn and spend coins.
None of this requires any hardware purchase, any app download, any technical expertise, or any upfront payment beyond 299 INR per month if you choose Network mode. The Closed Loop mode is free forever.
Step 1: Open rynowallet.com (30 seconds)
On your phone browser, go to rynowallet.com. Tap Merchant Login. You will see a registration option if you do not have an account. Tap Register.
Enter your email address, create a password, and confirm it. Tap Create Account. You will receive a verification email—click the link in it to confirm your account. This step takes under a minute on a typical mobile connection.
Step 2: Complete Your Shop Profile (60 seconds)
After email verification, you will be prompted to complete your shop profile. Enter:
- Your name (as the shop owner)
- Your shop name
- Your mobile number
- Your city and area
- Your shop category (kirana, pharmacy, grocery, fashion, etc.)
This information is used to match you with customers in your area in Network mode, and to display your shop name in the network directory. Take 60 seconds to fill this in accurately.
Step 3: Choose Your Mode (30 seconds)
You will be prompted to choose your starting mode. Two options:
Closed Loop (Free): Choose this if you want to start with a private, branded loyalty program at zero cost. You will also be asked to name your coins at this step—enter whatever you like (Sharma Points, Style Stars, Quick Rewards).
RynoWallet Network (299 INR/month): Choose this if you want to immediately join the coalition and start receiving network customers. Your coins will be standard RynoCoins (1 RC = 1 INR). You will be prompted to complete payment via UPI, card, or net banking to activate Network mode.
Not sure which to choose? Start with Closed Loop. You can upgrade to Network mode in one click from your dashboard at any time, and all your customer data and coin balances transfer seamlessly.
Step 4: Set Your Earning Rules (60 seconds)
After mode selection, you will land on the earning rules configuration screen. This is where you define how many coins customers earn per purchase. A simple starting setup:
- Bills 1 to 500 INR: 10 coins
- Bills 501 to 1000 INR: 18 coins
- Bills above 1000 INR: 30 coins
You can adjust these at any time from the dashboard. For your first day, set something reasonable and start—you can optimise later based on actual usage data.
Step 5: Issue Your First Coin (60 seconds)
You are ready to issue your first coin. On the merchant portal home screen, you will see the Issue Coins option. Tap it.
Enter a customer's phone number (you can use your own phone number for a test transaction, or use an actual first customer). Enter the bill amount. The portal will calculate the coins based on your earning rules. Tap Issue.
The coins are credited instantly. If the customer is registered with RynoWallet, they receive a notification. If they are not yet registered, they can sign up in 30 seconds at rynowallet.com using the same phone number, and the coins will be waiting in their new wallet.
Step 6: Print and Display Your Sticker
From your merchant dashboard, download and print the RynoWallet network sticker (for Network mode) or your customized closed-loop sticker. Place it at eye level on your shop door or counter, visible from outside.
This sticker signals to network customers that they can earn or redeem here. It is a small step with outsized impact—customers who notice the sticker and walk in are exactly the network-acquired customers that make the coalition model so powerful.
From Launch to First Result
Most merchants who launch on Monday and issue coins consistently for the first week see their first redemption within 2 to 3 weeks. The first redemption is a milestone—it means a customer has accumulated enough coins to find redemption worthwhile and has returned specifically to use them.
From the first redemption onwards, the loyalty loop is live. Customers earn, return to redeem, earn again on the redemption visit, and the cycle continues. What started as a 5-minute setup has become a permanent retention engine for your shop.
