Why Traditional Loyalty Programs Fail Small Shops
If you have ever looked into launching a loyalty program for your shop, you have probably run into the same wall: the solutions available are either too expensive, too complex, or require customers to take too many steps before they see any value.
Dedicated loyalty POS machines cost anywhere from 15,000 to 50,000 INR upfront, plus monthly maintenance. White-label loyalty apps require a development investment of 50,000 to 2 lakh INR and then require customers to download them—and most customers never do. Paper punch cards get lost, worn out, or forgotten. WhatsApp-based systems are unscalable and impossible to track.
RynoWallet was built to eliminate every one of these barriers.
What You Actually Need to Run RynoWallet
Here is the complete list of everything you need to launch a loyalty program with RynoWallet:
- A smartphone (any Android or iPhone, even basic models)
- An internet connection (2G works during setup; low bandwidth is fine)
- An email address to register
- Your shop name and mobile number
That is genuinely it. No hardware purchase. No app development. No customer onboarding hurdles. No staff training beyond a single 5-minute walkthrough.
Step 1: Register as a Merchant
Go to rynowallet.com and click Merchant Login. Create your account with your email and shop name. Choose your mode:
- Closed Loop (Free): Your own branded coins, earn and redeem only at your shop. White-labeled, no RynoWallet branding, zero cost forever.
- Network Mode (299 INR/month): Universal RynoCoins accepted across all participating shops. Customers from other shops can redeem at yours.
Approval happens within minutes. You will be live before you finish your morning chai.
Step 2: Set Your Earning Rules
The merchant dashboard lets you configure slab-based earning rules. For example:
- 10 RC for every 500 INR spent
- 15 RC for bills between 501–1000 INR
- 25 RC for bills above 1000 INR
You can keep it as simple as a flat rate or build tiered incentives to reward bigger spends. The system calculates automatically once you enter the bill amount.
Step 3: Issue Coins After Each Purchase
After a customer pays their bill via UPI, cash, or card:
- Open the RynoWallet merchant portal on your phone browser
- Search for the customer by their phone number, or scan their QR code
- Enter the bill amount and the coins to issue
- Tap Issue
Done. Ten seconds. The customer receives an instant notification confirming the coins credited to their wallet.
If a customer is new to RynoWallet, they can sign up instantly by providing just their phone number—they do not need to install any app. They access their wallet at rynowallet.com on their own browser.
Step 4: Accept Redemptions
When a customer wants to redeem their coins:
- They show their QR code (on their phone screen, screenshot, or printed)
- You scan it and see their current coin balance
- You enter the coins to be redeemed (1 RC = 1 INR discount)
- The bill is reduced by that amount
- Customer pays the remaining amount normally
- You also issue new coins for this purchase
The redeemed coin value is settled to your account at month-end through the standard settlement process.
Step 5: Monitor from Your Dashboard
The merchant dashboard gives you real-time visibility into:
- Total coins issued this month
- Total coins redeemed
- Remaining redemption capacity
- MIR ratio (your issuance-to-redemption health)
- Individual customer activity and loyalty patterns
You do not need to be a data analyst to use this dashboard. The metrics are designed to be readable at a glance—even during a busy morning rush.
What Your Customers Experience
For customers, the RynoWallet experience is equally frictionless. They:
- Sign up in under 30 seconds at rynowallet.com
- Receive a wallet ID (e.g., priya@rynowallet) and a personal QR code
- Earn coins at every participating shop they visit
- Check their balance from any browser—no app needed
- Redeem at any shop by showing their QR
The QR code can be saved as a screenshot on their phone. Even customers with basic phones and no internet at the moment of redemption can participate.
Optional: Integrate with Your Billing Software
If you use Tally, Vyapar, Khatabook, or any other billing software, RynoWallet offers a REST API that can automate coin issuance directly from your billing workflow. When a bill is generated, the API automatically issues coins—no manual step required.
But this is entirely optional. Hundreds of merchants run RynoWallet perfectly well using just the browser portal. The API is there when you are ready to scale.

Is There a Catch?
The Closed Loop mode is genuinely free forever. No subscription, no per-transaction fee, no hidden charges. It costs RynoWallet almost nothing to run an isolated merchant program, so they pass that saving directly to merchants.
The Network mode costs 299 INR per month—less than 10 rupees per day. That is the price of a single cup of tea to access a coalition loyalty network that can send new customers through your door every week.
